Hi, my name is Melissa M. Stanford. I am the founder of original artwork by melissa stanford.
What i hope to achieve from this website is an opportunity to provide people with a sample of work based on the work i've done so far and as a bridge between what i have done so far and where there are opportunities for people to buy my art work.
Original artwork is the name i've given myself to work under otherwise i would be just an oil on canvas artist, struggling with the rest of the competition for interest.
It is my intention for my art to be viewed and thus find success in the art world, but for people to first hear about me, i must "put myself" out there, which is no doubt a scary prospect but i believe i'm good enough for it.
how good i am is up to you the public to decide...
I hope the passion and skill in my work shines through and that i make new friends on a journey where i find success. Melissa
